PlayStation Press Conference Breakdown

Sony came out of the gate very strong with this years press conference. They had announcement after announcement.  The Playstation is looking very strong. Read up on the announcements below. Also look out for updated info later this week.

Like Typical they start out with a video montage of their games.

Jack starts out with an apology for the PSN outage, as well as some thanks to people in the industry for their support.

CinemaNow will join the network later this year. (free access to it)

They start the show off strong with Uncharted 3.  They showcase it with some game play footage from the single player.  Beta Announced for June 20^th . Subway is providing full MP experience before it launches.  They Finish off with an edited trailer.

Resistance 3 was showcased, with game play footage. Move bundle with the sharpshooter announced.

God of War Origins 3D HD ( psp games) announced for this Fall

ICO and Shadow of Colossus 3D HD remake announced for this Fall

Playstation branded 3D display,with separate views on one screen. The bundle with R3 is $499

Playstation branded 3D Glasses.

NBA 2K12 played with Move.  They showed off how you can play the game with the move. Think of it as a PC game, you click to move and shoot. Coming October 4, 2011

A new move game from the creators of Sports Champions was announced. Midevil Moves, an action adventure game.  Fall 2011

Infamous 2 Trailer the user content creation coming this fall.

Move comes to Little Big Planet 2 this fall.

Starhawk releases early 2012. They start with a single player trailer.

Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time announced for 2012.

Dust 154 from the creators of Eve online announced for 2012. It will interact with Eve Online.  They showcased it with a trailer. It looks a lot like Halo for the Playstation.  Closed beta by the end of the year.

Bioshock Infinite was showcased next with a trailer. It is now move supported.

An untitled exclusive game in the Bioshock universe teased for PS Vita.

Saints Row 3. With move support comes out September 15^th.

Star Trek for the Move comes out with the next movie, with a replica phaser controller. Topped off with a trailer.

EA Exclusives

• A SSX Tricky Map.
• Need For Speed the run will get 7 new super cars.
• Battlefield 3 gets battlefield 1943 bundle with it.

NGP announcements

• Price is $249 Wifi $299 for 3G
• Release date later Holiday
• Playstation Suit for the PC, and Android. And other devices.  Nothing really announced about it.
• Officially Named PS Vita (Vita means life)
• They are partnering with AT&T for service.
• Cross game chat for the Vita
• New profile name near for Vita
• Cross Play between PS3 and Vita
• Cloud Saves

Uncharted Golden Abyss is showcased with a demo.  This game looks great. They showed off how you can use the Vita to move, jump and fight.

New game from Idol Minds called Ruin was announced, as an action RPG.  Other players can become rivals or allies on the Fly.  Can be played on the PS3 as well, with save transferring.

Modnation Racers built from the ground up for Vita. It still includes the editor and everything Modnation raiders have. I wound if the load times are still there ;)

Little Big Planet announced for Vita.

Street Fighter X Tekken announced as a Vita Exclusive. Cole from Infamous 2 was announced as a fighter.

They then went over a long list of developers for Vita with a montage of upcoming games.
