Konami Press Conference

Konami started a new tradition this year, with releasing their press conference before E3. Nothing really shocking came out of this early press event, but they did give some pretty good details and insights into their upcoming games. Below is a list of some of the bigger announcements and what happened in the show.

1) Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater for the 3DS was talked about. They explained how it will use all the features of the 3ds. For instance “photo-camo” is where you would use the camera from the 3DS to take a picture of an object. The game will then use that as camouflage for the game.

2) PES 2012. they explain how this version for PES they are focusing on the “off the ball” play. As well as a revamped A.I. 7

3)Info on the new action game Never Dead.  He talks about some of the features of the games, with emphasis on the character being immortal. They then show off how he can re-attach his arms and legs. Megadeath created a song just for this game, which is pretty sweet.

4)Some Silent Hill movie Info. Nothing really important just how the Silent Hill Games helped shape the new movie. After which the introduced a new Silent Hill game and showed a trailer of darkspore.  At the end of the trailer the release date was listed  as this winter.

5) Kojima announcements

~ Transfarring .  Games saves sharing between PS3 and PSP(possibly game transferring)

~MGS HD Collection with Peace Walker (Not the first MGS for some reason…)

~Zone of Enders HD collection

~Teased his new game and the Fox Engine.  He did mention that it will be “transfarring to a global audience. “

At the end their teased the next Contra, by showing off the contra C and the words “They are coming”
