Game Preview: X-Men Destiny
“X-Men: Destiny “
X-Men: Destiny is an upcoming action RPG game being developed by Silicon Knights and will be published by Activision. It is currently scheduled to be released in Fall 2011. The story is being written by Mike Carey, the writer of the X-Men: Legacy comic book series.
In Destiny, you will play one of three brand new mutants who are discovering their powers for the very first time.
The story is set in current San Francisco after the recent death of Professor X and will focus on players choices to determine the outcome of the story. Players decide what mutants become their allies and enemies through their own actions.
It looks like the game will feature many familiar faces including Cyclops, Nightcrawler, Wolverine, Pyro, Juggernaught and GAMBIT!
The game will be released on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii and Nintendo DS.
