Slash Rant Ep. 60: Mass Layoffs
The Pulp Ep. 26: Summer Draft
Game-N-Talk Ep. 43: Feel the Chi…Inside You Despite the upset that Resident Evil 5 caused with fans, Capcom decided to keep the franchise going with a direct sequel. The interesting thing about RE 6 is that, for the first time, the game will have both Leon Kennedy and Chris Redfield as the games playable protagonists. Leon is most notable for being the main character in RE 4 as well as one of the protagonists in RE 2. Chris Redfield is known for sharing the spotlight in RE 5 and was also a prominent character in the original game, as well as Code: Veronica.
Interestingly enough, there appears to be a third protagonist in RE 6 who has yet to be identified. In fact, there is a lot that has yet to be revealed about this game. We do know that it will stay true to it’s over-the-shoulder survival horror style that it is known for. And that Hiroyuki Kobayashi will be returning to the series; that should be music to your ears since he’s one of the reasons as to why RE 4 is one of the greatest games of the previous generation. Based on the trailer below, RE 6 looks like it will bring the setting back to the classic city setting that the original games were known for. Only this time, we visit China.
