Game Preview : Final Fantasy XIII-2
Final Fantasy XIII(13) was released awhile ago wit mixed reactions. Some loved it and thought that it was the best game in the series while others felt like it was out of place, and did not live up to series standards. That did not stop SquareEnix though from creating a sequel for the game FF XIII-2. It will be coming to both the PS3 and the 360 in North America next year. If they stick to their normal time schedule it will be around March.
The game will pick up a few years after the end of the first game. Serah Farron and new character Noel Kreiss will be forced to find out what happened to Lighting once their town of Gran Pulse is overrun with monsters. Once Lighting is found, she will have a new mission to find out what is going on in the world. Many of the first games characters will appear in unexpected ways.
It has been stated that this is a true sequel and entry into the Final Fantasy Universe. Much unlike X-2, which was a more comical laid back sequel. They have promised this game will be more serious in nature and delve much further into the Fabula Nova Cystallis Mythology then they ever have.
