Free Valve Games On Steam
“Free Valve Games”
Get on this like a kitten to a laser pointer! Valve just added five free games to Steam. Namely, Spiral Knights, Free Agents, Forsaken World, Global Agenda, Alliance of Valiant Arms and Champions Online.
This week starts the new model of distribution where Steam will start to host many free to play games. But act quick, as each game features timed exclusives. This is just a taste of things to come and the exclusives will only last until Sunday. That’s right starting today and ending on Sunday; each of the previously mentioned games will be have bonus experience, in game items and more depending on the day of the week. Wednesday starts off with Sega’s Spiral Knights, allowing you to double your energy and receive a Team Fortress 2 hat.
Steam has been gaining…well…steam lately what with its integration with the PlayStation Network and the newly released smash hit Portal 2. Free games are just the next step. I personally love what Steam is doing and am glad to see PC gaming sticking around despite the big consoles taking most of the market.
