Well hello there, I see that you have taken the first step to super stardom! Well, at least in my eyes. We are looking for a few good men (and women of course, maybe even some cats, wombats or big foots) to join our staff of writers and podcasters, editors, designer, etc. Crosstalk is booming right now and we have many positions to fill. If you are interested in joining our staff please look below for job descriptions. Now remember, we have neither deadlines nor quotas, you can write when you want and how you want. We are a laid back but supportive group of people who are willing to offer help and insight whenever you need assistance. We are looking for creative, responsible and passionate individuals who are invested in the world of entertainment and pop culture.  NO PRIOR EXPERIENCE is needed to join us. We’ll teach you everything you need to know about podcasting, writing, editing etc. but it’s up to you to give the effort and personality needed.

Working for Crosstalk is great for professionals, hobbiests and students alike. We provide great experience, references and would certainly look great on any resume.

Crosstalk has connections and can get you early press releases of the latest in entertainment.

1. On Air Talent - Are  you someone who can get a room full of people to listen to your every word? If you love to talk then we’d love to listen. Podcasting is the way of the future and Crosstalk is always looking to grow its podcasting family. We are looking for likeminded indivduals who are interested in creating or joining great audio and video podcasts on the latest in the entertainment industry. If you want to join in an existing show or have an idea to start your own, then let us know. Maybe you’ve already got an independent podcast but are looking for a home, then Crosstalk is the place to be.

2. News and Previews Writer - This is for the person who keeps up to date on the latest and greatest in the entertainment industry and can provide quick write ups informing our readers of what’s going down in the world of today. Topics can include anything from Comics and Movies to Fashion and iPhones.

3. Review Writer - The job everybody wants. Trust me, it is not as easy as it sounds. You have to really pay attention and be able to express your opinions on all aspects in a non-bias, easy to understand manner. Your job is to critique final products such as newly released Games, Movies, TV Shows, and more. (Review copies may be given once you have proven yourself worthy)

4. Editor (Site) - Perhaps the easiest and yet most needed position. This is for that person who reads over an article and finds misspellings and improper grammar.

5. Editor (Magazine) - Like the site editor (a position that can be combined with this one), we need someone who can edit our upcoming monthly magazine. On top of that we need someone to sign off on the final formatting, overall flow and placement of text and images.

6. Advertising Guru - This is our most important and highest paying position. You will be paid a commission on every ad deal you bring in. You will be provided with all the stats and tools needed to get the Crosstalk name out there. This includes all aspects of Crosstalk, from the website to podcasts to the magazine.

7. Show Producer - This is the position that will make you feel like king of the world. We’re looking for experienced individuals who can keep our podcasts organized, publicized and continue to grow our listerner base.

8. Show Editor - This is for the person who loves to listen to podcasts but more importantly is patient, maticulous and has a great ear for detail. Someone who can take our live shows and edit it into a professional sounding show. Removing noise and unnecessary dialogue along with polishing up the sound quality, inserting sound effects, and more.

9. Graphic Master - We are always on the lookout for someone who can spruce up the place and create various logo’s and assets.

10. Other Position? - Do you have an idea for a position that is not listed, then let us know.
